Biografía
Aunque hasta el momento ha centrado la mayoría de sus esfuerzos como productor (ha producido dos largometrajes documental y cuatro cortometrajes), tras su incursión como ayudante de dirección en dos largometrajes documental (“Operación Úrsula” y “Scouts”), José Esteban Alenda empezó a interesarse en la dirección. Ahora mismo está desarrollando su primer largometraje documental como guionista y director (“El extraño viaje de Ader”). Ha escrito y dirigido el cortometraje de animación “La increíble historia del hombre sin sombra” (35mm, 2008) que ha sido recientemente nominado a los Premios Goya de la Academia de Cine de España.
Biography
Although he has centered most of his efforts as producer (He has produced two feature films and four short films), after his work as director’s assistant in two feature length documentaries (“Operación Úrsula” and “Scouts”), José Esteban Alenda moved into directing. He is currently developing his first feature length documentary as scriptwriter and director (“El Extraño Viaje de Ader”). He wrote and directed the animated short film “La Increíble Historia del Hombre Sin Sombra” (35mm, 2008) which has been recently nominated for the Goya Awards by the Spanish Film Academy.
Sinopsis
Un joven sin fortuna vende su sombra a un misterioso personaje a cambio de una bolsa eterna de monedas de oro. Este hecho le causará al joven terribles penalidades.
Synopsis
An unfortunate young man sells his shadow to a mysterious character in exchange for an eternal bag of gold coins. This will bring onto the boy terrible sufferings.
